The Municipal Elections are in full swing and Election Day is October 16, 2017. Volunteers are integral to a successful campaign - please contact your local District Labour Council if you are able to assist on a campaign. These offices will be able to direct you to the appropriate contact, and you can always contact the AFL office if you have any troubles. 

Ways to assist during an election include door-knocking, calling community members, getting people out to vote, helping on election day and more! 
Plus - it can be a great way to gain experience and meet like minded people. The District and Labour Councils have released who they are supporting, because these candidates have shown commitment to labour values.
