Lift the Silence is an Edmonton-wide suicide awareness campaign that runs the week surrounding World Suicide Prevention Day. September 8-12th, events will be held around Edmonton to share stories and provide resources and support. Meet local first responders, hear stories of courage against adversity, and learn more about an emergency service perspective on mental health and suicide. First responders, their family members as well as all members of the public are welcome!

In support of this event, the AFL is organizing the BBQ. We are looking for volunteers to assist with setup at 2:00 p.m. in preparation for the 4:30 p.m. BBQ. Please e-mail [email protected] or call 780.483.3021 to sign up.
